If this guy isn't studying (remember - he's not a (recent) graduate - he's still learning !) game programming, THE LEAST we can expect is extensive knowledge of gaming history.
Besides - look at that list of features. Just look at it. Doesn't it look more like cutting corners than offering goodies ?
I don't expect a 64bit version but making 32-bit software is an achievement akin to speaking prose. The game is "fully voiced" except that "fully" only applies to cutscenes (I don't care how much text they want to have - with this sort of money they could easily find an eager college student with a pleasant voice to read some lines into the mic). "Completely original soundtrack" merely means that the game is going to have music and it's not going to be taken from outside sources.
