gog.com doesn't really do much in selling old educational games. Do you think there is a market for selling old educational games, would people buy old Super Solver and Broderbund games?
Still waiting on Word Rescue to get enough votes. :P
Where in the World is Carmen Sandieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeegooooooo?
Gee, everything I ever needed to know I learned from Postal.

That ones available from 3D Realms in a DRM free package, we have other games from that shop, so it should be possible. Perhaps sending them a politely worded email requesting it be added here would work.

I dunno. I learned an awful lot about women from Duke Nukem.

It would be cool if they got some The Learning Company games here. I played Math Mountain as a kid. Good times.

Indeed. TLC had a bunch of games that were legitimately fun to play. It's a shame the started to focus on the education more than the fun, it doesn't matter how educational something is if nobody plays with it.
generally, i think for edutainment to achieve its intended goal, it has to be modern and appeal to the people it aims to teach. An old game with outdated controls probably wont do that anymore. So while some people will buy them for sentiment/collecting, i dont think the market is there.
That said, itd be cool to see gog get the original typing of the dead.

I dunno about that. These games were mostly aimed at elementary school aged kids, control schemes for kids that age haven't changed that much over the last several decades. They've always been limited by the kids actual coordination and comprehension skills.

I'd love to get Mario Teaches typing here. That one probably holds up pretty well.
if the market for these games were more vocal perhaps we shall see some in the future
Here is my list
Try bookworm adventure vol 2, try Drawn series at Steam :)

Bookworm good for vocabulary, Drawn good for logical puzzle thinking

It really has changed for one major reason: touchscreens.
I was just looking for some edutainment titles earlier. Getting some on GOG would definitely be nice, especially The Oregon Trail.
