Anybody play this classic yet? GOG.com really needs this one!
Very nice. I just watched a let's play and it seemed pretty deep into 4X
When is this coming on GOG?

I want a version with the music and video that plays on Windows7.
There's a clone called Ad Infinitum, currently in alpha - information here
A huge thanks for that link! Emperor of the fading suns was an incredible game (with a handful of rather major flaws), so it will be interesting to see how the clone will turn out.
I played the original a while back, still got the full copy, but I lost the box... Grrr, I'm hoping this gets on GoG as well, with the full soundtrack and all.
Let's hope this game will appear on gog.
lol necro

but yeah, i agree.
Since no one linked it yet here's the community wishlist page to vote for it:

Here's a link to a video on YouTube:

Thankfully it at least has a bit over 300 votes...let's get it to 500!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emperor_of_the_Fading_Suns says it was published by Segasoft. "SegaSoft was founded in 1995 and lasted until 2000, when the company was restructured into Sega.com, Inc."

So it appears the rights lie with SEGA.
