Like everything else, it depends. For me, I prefer TA. Part of that is because TA units aren't obsoleted as they so thoroughly are in EE.

They are comparable... both are really good real-time strategy games. For its time I believe Total Annihilation got higher review scores, but Empire Earth is a bit more modern... two quite different games really, one is historically-based, the second is sci-fi, first packs nice single-player content, the other is more multiplayer focused...

Empire Earth all the way and good thing is its faster building of army so you dont have to wait years to get into action also their is a save-ee lobby client for you to play online ;)

aoe and them sort of games are slow to build up armys and extra with ee its alot faster game speed than rise of nations and aoe and other strat games
