Hello to everybody, first of all, excuse me for my english.

I have a problem with this game:

I purchased ENEMY ENGAGED: APACHE vs HAVOC on May, the 28th.
Download, ok.
Install, ok.
First play, ok. (Difficult to play only with keyboard but I make an effort)

But yesterday, (29th) when I run the game for second time it seems something it's not ok. Time goes very fast.
It doesn't care if I'm in time acceleration or not.
I tried to slow it with / - / key but it didn't work.
I see x2 or x3 or x4 on right top screen, but time is fast always. So I can control my copter. I always crash :\

My questions: It's a bug? It's for something I have done in the options menu?
And the more important: what I have to do to fix this?

Thank you.

PS: And congratulations for GOG page; is wonderful.

Well if you see X2, X3, or X4, that is referring to the current rate at which time is accelerated.

Haven't started EE yet but in other sims I've played you usually have to hit CTRL or SHIFT as well as + or - in order to speed or slow it down. Check the manual, it should be in the start menu.

Actually I just checked the copy I have installed, it is indeed "CTRL +/-" to slow or speed up time.

If it's a CPU speed issue, due to faster computers, then this thread might help.

Thank you for you help.

More questions:

- why the first time I played the game ran well?

- the CPU Killer progrma is freesware?

I checked the manual, pressing "CTRL +/-" it works, and time accel or decerelate; but it doesn't works fine. The game still runs fast.

I will keep trying!
I've used this free program for several older games that don't run properly on multicore computers. It's easy to use, and keeps you from having to maually set your game to one core everytime you want to start it up and play. Just drop the games launch exe from the game folder into the LNS's targert box once, and you can then just launch the game from LNS with however many cores you want working (just set to 1 in this case, if that's the problem).

LaunchNSet
If you haven't done so yet, try running it as admin.
Finally I have fixed using AVG Tune up; with the save mode. It slows my CPU and the game works ok.
Probably the first time I've played it was in that mode... owned.

Thanks very much to all the answers!
