Technically not a giveaway so much as a beg. If you're going to be able to pay the buyer back in a week, you can probably wait a week instead. Or you can try to get into a $10 game giveaway. There might even be a new one starting by this weekend (Obvious hint)

I'm completely confident that I am not the first person to have created a thread asking for a favor by gifting a game. And not to toot my own horn or make it sound like this board owes me something( because it doesn't and I don't even care about the favor anymore at this point), but I have helped out people that have asked for it, I've had contests to give away free gamesand I don't consider myself the type of guy goes around begging for free games without paying people back right away.

can somebody who has low rated my posts explain why? I normally don't make a big deal about rep and the like, but I find this irritating and disturbing to be totally honest . It's something I have noticed in other threads too
OK the 3rd one you don't have to explain why. I was very mildly being an ass in response to a lecture from Dad post( though I don't think it should have been low rated, The harshest thing I said was "shut up wooooooo" . Brutal stuff, I know, but what can I say? I grew up in a tough neighborhood and I sing the raw music of the streets when I post.)

My first 2 posts were hidden though which I thought was completely unnecessary
Did I insult anybody here in those first 2 posts? Did I insult gog in anyway? Did I spam? No, I made a thread title that was somewhat misleading as a small joke, and I kidded around in my second post. Inside I asked if anybody would help me get a gog game and then I would repay that person with another gog, which guess what...is good for gog.
Was it because, as QC would put it, I begged for the game? Was it because I didn't want to wait for a contest and earn the game the hard way as he suggested I do?? Isn't it better that I'm actually repaying the game back, instead of just snagging a free game from somebody who gets nothing in return? I don't get it man. I hear all the time on this board "gog has such a generous and helpful community ", so was I out of line for thinking somebody might help me out? ( I already know the answer to that question, it's a rhetorical question)
