Am I the only one annoyed that they quote their reviews in news articles, acting like their opinions of games are facts? Today in their Risen 2 news articles they quote their review of Risen as if it was a factual document, rather than one man's opinion.

Am I just weird or is that really unprofessional and annoying?

That's pretty damn stupid.

Eurogamer often link their reviews in articles but normaly prefix it with 'our reviewer loved/didn't think much of it. Maybe because the developer says pretty much the same thing in answer to the first question (Is Risen your best work) they felt a bit bolder.
