Pretty damned nice work there. Not sure how he'll go with warranty if it red rings though
He'll buy an Xbox Arcade, swap the guts and add his old hard drive...
And that is pretty awesome.
Too bad it is an Xbox... The PC is clearly a superior platform for a game like Fallout Vegas

Not least of all because that sucker's going to need all the community patches and mods it can get. Not that it won't be a great game in its own right... 6 months of patching later.

It's not Bethesda this time it's Obsidian. 9 Months then.

Ha! Yeah, too right. Obsidian = never quite enough patches. Fallout = never quite enough patches. Obsidian + Fallout = D:

At least with Zenimax paying the bills we know there will be patches as they probably have at least 5 DLC packs planned. Unlike Sega who seem to have swept Alpha Protocol under the rug with regard to patches and DLC.

Sega seemed to be quite disgusted with Alpha Protocol. They certainly didn't hide their disappointment. Which is a shame. Because, while critics panned it, gamers seem to quite like it.

I think Sega thought it would be their Mass Effect, critically acclaimed and the title to win the hearts of European gamers not to mention making pots of money. The reviews were mediocre and they heavily emphasized the bugs the game shipped with which put off those crucial early-adopters. So yeah Sega were disappointed. In a way this was Sega's fault really as some of the bad bugs were identified and Fergus Urquart said they wanted to have a patch ready within days of release but Sega wanted to leave it much longer to get feedback. Suicide. As we all know there is nothing more assuring than seeing patches within days but getting silence from the publisher is likely to have word of mouth say "It's good but wait till it's cheap".

That is the word of mouth I'm paying heed to. But then that is so often the case with me, no matter how good the game is. :D

I bought it and it's certainly worth the GetGames price of £14.99. Spare a thought for poor old Michaelleung who pre-ordered it. :p

He pre-ordered MoH off of Steam, when just about every other site and Steam region had a better deal. Hell, it was cheaper on Steam here! So no, I'm more inclined to point and laugh.

He did get a free copy of Space Siege though. lol

Ha! Deal of the century right there! I tried the demo for that and it was sooo bland. Dungeon Seige was a bit too simplistic, but damn, not that bad.
It looks pretty damn cool.
