Well, Outcast is available (after being on the top 10 for a good year).

Of the top 10? No, now that Outcast is off of there.
But isn't that the point of a wishlist? You get it and then you can cross it off the list.
I wasn't aware that when I request something it becomes a promise that the other person must fulfill.
There are absolutely no promises associated with the wishlist in the first place, its just a way for us to show GOG what games we want, no more, no less.
If you could pre-order, then it would be a promise. As is now, it's more of a guideline than anything. I recon, even before gog and the wishlist were available, most of those top 10 games were on the gog team's top ten. The precious gems of the site, in a way. No doubt they are in high demand for availability on the site, but are mired for a reason or two.

Huh? I wasn't even aware they had touched the wishlist at all. Well, what do you know. Two things about that:
1) It shows that the top 10 being displayed at all times, and that being the only games you can see sorted by number of votes is a bad idea (the current #10 has less than half the number of votes of #9, having been only recently elevated to visible status).
2) They haven't removed all the games that are already here, only the ones from the top 10 (meaning Outcast, basically). Sanitarium is still on the wishlist, for instance.
I still hope they'll eventually implement a simple "sort by number of votes" function. That would make the top 10 redundant, and would "even the playing field", so to speak.

awsomedude: *snip*

No promises involved at all. The wishlist is simply a way for GOG to see which sort of games would probably sell well, and might be worth going after, if they can get them. Unfortunately, a LOT of the most popular IPs are in the hands of companies who are less than enthusiatic about the whole "no DRM" concept.

Oh man, you're right. Because when the Magical GOG Fairy said that 10000 votes would generate enough mana for her to magic the game into the GOG catalogue, clearly that bitch was just fronting.

I wishlisted for Return to Krondor and about 10 months later, it's here
Wait... let me get this straight. When I added TIE Fighter to the Wishlist GOG gave me a promise they would deliver it? Why was I not told this?
I won't be getting "Big Throbbing Horse Cock?" :(

What you do on a Saturday night down on the farm...that's nobody's business but yours & the horse. ;-)
The origins of this thread are almost too ridiculous to even spend time considering...

GOG is now a pr0n site ? Or will they be setting up a subsidiary called GOP ?
