god fucking damn it, I'm so pissed I missed this in the theaters, has to be one of the best / most no bullshit movies I have ever seen.

fuck me for not seeing it on opening night and fuck the publisher for pulling almost instantly instead of giving people a chance to get to it.

You probably don't want to hear this, but the 3D might very well have been the best since Avatar.

even just watching it in SD off Amazon I could tell that the 3D would have been great, how did it measure up to the navigation room on Prometheus?

Way better, the Slo Mo drug (being the centerpiece of the plot) gave a lot of excuses for 3D slow motion pan shots. They went right up until the limit where most people would have gotten tired of it and backed off. Prometheus had some nice shots, but I couldn't help thinking of all the missed opportunities for better shots during the movie (e.g. no 3D pan around of the ship during landing, WTF?).

Saw the movie and i was surprised how much i enjoyed it :)

saw the 2D version. The slo mo parts looked amazing. Can't begin to imagine how they looked on 3D. Not going to pay to find out though.

Watched it in 3D here at my University (they tend to pick up movies after they've left theaters).

Fantastic.

I don't even like watching movies in 3D here because the glasses fit uncomfortably over my own.
But this movie made it worth it to deal with the discomfort.
