I recently had mine cut (a week ago) and donated it to Locks of Love and it was about time I got rid of it as it was down well past my waist. =D
My 2nd fav game was Falcons Eye which was originally designed as a BBS door game. Remember BBS's?

I cant remember the name for sure, but I think it may have been called Orbit. It was a CGA DOS game. the earth was in the center of the screen. It was all green. You controlled a space shuttle that was pretty much just a brown arrow. After launch, you were always in orbit. The orbit was pretty convincingly modeled. It wasn't always round either (It usually was a bad thing if it got too elliptical) It must have had some good math behind it. I wouldn't be the one to know though. My brain just cant cope with the stuff. Anyway, if I remember correctly the only two controls you had were thrust and change heading. Applying thrust would change your orbit, and the change depended highly on your direction and where you were in the orbit. You were either facing in the direction you were going or the opposite direction. You had take off, then dock with a space station, and then land again. This was complicated by limited oxygen (time limit), and limited fule. You had to be very careful about where and when to apply thrust, and in practice you usually just tapped the key, as opposed to holding it down.
It was a very cool game, but its probably been lost to antiquity.

I Can't remember exactly which, but it was either Oregon Trail or Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego.
We played it at school when I was in 2nd/3rd grade on the computer.

Just reading the posts now..the first game I played was Prince of Persia 1 at college. Later I played Doom 2 & Descent, then.. I bought my first PC in 1994. The first game I actually bought myself was Star Wars Tie Fighter.
