It is region blocked on GameStop (can't see it here), but it is also on GG http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-FZ/fort-zombie (-50% right now.)

But to answer the question, no sorry. First time I heard about it.

I've only heard of one person who has played it (a regular on another forum), and according to him it is one of those games that you'll initially hate, but it will grow on you, though it will never become amazing.

It was released during Paradox's awkward phase, before they had fully wrapped their minds around publishing. They did not really have proper quality control in the beginning, which is why we got games like Legio & Stalin vs. Martians (Mesmer games was their "casual" label for a while, but after two major flops, they dropped it).

The very concept of the game is fascinating. It was the zombie survival simulation before State of Decay. The only problem with it.... is well everything.

Poor controls, horrible optimization, missing sound effects, risk-reward balance out of proportion, difficulty options do nothing, etc... etc...

hmm might go for that one then I like the concept but seems too much of a tps game. I would rather have the strategy in the forefront where can I get state of decay? I have not heard of that one either I sure hope its not mmo or multi only or for xbox only or something like that?

State of Decay is currently only on the Xbox 360, but the development team plans on releasing it for the PC. So far it looks like that is likely to happen. So I would advise you do not pick up the 360 version. It has problems because the hardware is so old.

I haven't got an xbox anyway so that would never happen I am an PC guy through and through thx. Is there a date for pc? I noticed that it came out this month on XBOX so prob a while I guess.

I absolutely love the Zombie fortress idea with npc survivors to pick up and a an expanding base and stuff like that but I'm still waiting for one that's really well done sadly.

I'm waiting for State of Decay, and I'm sure it'll be nice, but I want a game like this with procedurally generated stuff, random areas and stuff like that, whereas State of Decay looks incredibly fixed in what it offers with story sequences and the like.

I know I would love that it is more strategy and builder and just some action that would be awesome.
