GameRager: Lol but what if you HAVE to read everything like me, or others with my OCD? ;)
It's a headache I tells ya.
Ya never know, man - you might've missed a freebee in the Gaming Deals thread that is still out there and available right now. XD
Fever_Discordia: I'm suprised that it doesn't make you play one game at a time untill completeion almost non-stop though! I'm no psycologist though...
Is anyone else reading this tangented conversation BTW? - Just t get vaugely On Topic!
GameRager: If it gets too hard I stop and play something else that's easier on my mental state.
Also some GOGs I played as a lad and thus I can play them easier. And some are new to me but feature narrow corridors and easy interfaces which I can mentally "handle".
For some reason my OCD changes over the years, with some symptoms going and coming quickly or slowly. Some symptoms i've had for years some only a few months. It's odd it is, but it's how I live sadly. Medicines help me muchly though.
OCD I imagine is pretty difficult. I overcame chronic depression and then fell into paranoid anxiety. The only thing that kept me from achieving the label of 'Schizophrenic' was that I'm laid back and level headed enough to remain rational.
To this day I view the world like a conspiracy author and reality to me is perceived as undefined but I still manage to cope happily.
The good thing about mental illness is that it doubles as mental exercise to keep you sharp and keep you thinking - I believe that unless you suffer from actual brain damage that there is a way to either get past or learn how to control and manage most disorders.
