You can pick four 3 dollar games from this promo (You can either pick four for yourself, two for yourself and two for random person OR you can pick 2 for yourself and 2 for certain person (as in you will say who will get it)...or any combination of the values I mentioned or two 5 dollar game and one 3 dollar game on top. You can also pick any game from catalogue (or combination of games) that will be within 13 dollar value.

It is possible to enter for another person if you wish.

Steam trading cards are a crock ... as if achievements weren't bad enough we now have more collectibles that OCD idiots will go nuts for... whatever happened to playing games just for the fun of them!?

Gun-whatever have actually been in use for quite a while. In Livrustkammaren (The Royal Armoury), they actually have a gun-warhammer! And when I was at a museum in Prague, I noticed that they had a collection of several different gun-swords. Most of these seemed to be single-shot weapons, that were primarily the melee weapon, just with a gun inside of them. I don't know if these were actually used much, and finding information about these things seem to be surprisingly hard.

It was at the Golden lane. One of the small museums there had a collection of old armours and weapons, and some of those weapons were pistol-swords.

As far as the new Steam cards trading system goes, I just think it is a new and exciting thing for achievement addicts and I guess it's fun to trade cards with your friends (no?), but in the end it's just another way for Valve to get their hands on a little more money.
