Did I miss a thread about this? Apparently GG used GOG's game description for NWN 2 for their site. Here's a pic from GOG's twitter.

Unlikely. It was probably a dictated description from the publisher.
Didn't GG also copy GOG's entire site layout at one time?
It is probably the default info text about the game. Happens when the publisher is giving you one text and no freedom to write a new different one.

I think that was Impulse.
It's not the only one

http://www.gog.com/gamecard/strike_suit_zero
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-SSZ/strike-suit-zero

or

http://www.gog.com/gamecard/omerta_city_of_gangsters
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-OMERTA/omerta-city-of-gangsters

But like others have mentioned, they most likely both used the same text provided by the publisher with no or little modification.
That could be an option, but why would GOG be posting about how GG copied them if it was the standard text from the publisher? You'd think GOG wouldn't be pointing it out if they hadn't written it themselves.

Edit: Ehhh nvm you guys are probably right. Still funny though.

That text is from the original NWN2 fact sheet, from 2005 or so, before the game was even released. It's weird that the person responsible for the Twitter account doesn't know that.

Yeah, it looks like that person made a fool of him/her self

Isn't this the text from the fact sheet?
Bards sing tales of heroes from ages past, but never have the Forgotten Realms so desperately needed a champion. Years have passed since the war between Luskan and Neverwinter, almost enough time for the wounds of war to heal. But the brief peace the Realms have known may be at an end. Tension growing between the mighty city-states means the Sword Coast again teeters on the edge of open war. Unnoticed, a greater danger stalks the City of Skilled Hands. Unbeknownst to the denizens of the North, deep in the Mere of Dead Men, dark forces from across the Realms have been rallied under the banner of a legendary evil. If left unchallenged, all of the North is doomed to fall under its power. Even in this darkest hour, hope remains. A mysterious relic is borne to Neverwinter in the hands of a lone hero so that its secrets may be unlocked - secrets that carry the fate of all the North. So begins an epic tale of shattered alliances, noble acts and dark deeds to be told across the Realms for generations to come.

Haha, indeed. Nice one, GOG.
Gamersgate used some of GOG's screenshot from the various Dungeons & Dragons games for their Dungeons & Dragons Anthology, though. Unless the publisher used names like GOGClerica, GOGera, GOGer and GOGsorcerer for the characters in their promotional screenshots, that is.
wtf? When I clicked your link, site adviser is warning that that link is dangerous. Not to hijack the threat, but any other site adviser users noticing that it is getting trigger happy?
