lowyhong: Hey uruk you bought Zafehouse Diaries, man?
Yes. It was one of the few games, i made sure to pick up. Drm free and 4 bucks, packed along with 3 other games, hell yes.
The website is back up now. LOL the Bethesda Collection is now $319.57 and not available for purchase.

They needed MONTHS to fix a payment problem that i had.
It was even still shown as pending and the game didn't arrive in my account until much later.
This mistake probably cost them thousands given the 65 difference between the listed price and the price it should've been.

uruk: Oh you will enjoy this one greatly my friend. You will put many hours into it.
Yea, that's why I wanna get it. Spent many hours in HOI as well. :)

Yeah, kinda feel sorry for them :/

I don't understand some people, really. Those people always take advantage of anything they see. If they see a clear mistake in pricing, they flock there, get that product and triumphantly wave their arms around in "victory". Perhaps it's just me, but that's just sad. I'd never take advantage of anything that is clearly there by a mistake.

But who am I to judge.

Whiteblade999: It took forever, but it said my payment went through. Hopefully they honor these deals and don't reverse the payment. If they honor it expect to see a giveaway for Oblivion, Fallout 3, Morrowind and maybe Doom 3 BFG (what is different in this aside from a crap port and some new stuff?) in the near future.

Bloodygoodgames: Yep, they always honor their screw ups. They have to under EU law :)
Actually no, they don't, under EU law if the pricing is a mistake they can as long as their agreement allows revoke the purchase. Amazon and PCWorld have done this before when items have been mispriced.

Actually, if I remember correctly, because it's a digital purchase that's not true. It all has to do with if the buyer has received the product or not.

ie: Once the price has been offered and the purchaser has accepted it and paid for it and the game has been put in their account, the purchase has been concluded. They can't then come back to you and say "Oh, by the way, you owe us more money".

They CAN if it is a physical item and the item has not been sent to you AND they contact you before they send it to say a) the price was a mistake and b) give you a chance to pay the correct price and, if you don't want to, REFUND the amount you already paid.

With a digital purchase, however, the contract has been completed and the customer has technically received the item (especially if they have already downloaded it).

If you've downloaded it already you can keep it if you haven't they can refund and remove it from your account as the act of downloading is seen as taking possession not the act of buying in the case of electronic downloads
