Too bad they don't let EU customers to pay with $ . Well GOG will get my money again.
I believe Gamersgate is EU to begin with (Sweden)... so yeah xD
Anyway, they do seem to convert some prices to a little lower than the dollar cost at least. But not all.
Still, I think prices on some of them are actually quite good.
Titan Quest gold for instance.
That said, sadly I prefer to have my games on Steam and am not sure yet if I want to spread myself over more than 2 services at the moment (Steam/Gog). I know it doesn't really make sense, but still.
I also prefer Steam, but GG has some decent deals.
And I think anyone can use any of the sites. I can (probably) make purchases on the .co.uk site, so theoretically others could try the .com site to use $?

As far as I know, people in the UK/EU cannot get dollar pricing. They will be shown either Pounds or Euro on both sites. It's only ROW customers who can select to pay in Pounds on .co.uk or Dollars on .com.
However, for ROW customers, in some cases (such as EA games) only those in NA can buy (most) of them on the .com site, everyone else will need to use the .co.uk site and pay in Pounds (and even then some restrictions may still apply).
But if you are an ROW customer, it always pays to view both the Pound and Dollar prices as sometimes publishers specify a far lower price in one of the currencies. (Such as Serious Sam 2 last year, which was priced at around £4 for the .co.uk site and $14.99 for the .com site in one of its sales (this was before the .com site price drop).
Oh and to make comparing prices a little bit easier, I'll post the obligatory link =)

That sucks.
Does anyone know what it is about Europe that hates DD? On one of the more recent Elemental devblogs, Frogboy/Wardell also hints at Europe having pricing issues. This combined with the infamous $=Euro crap that is at a lot of websites these days is starting to really make me wonder.
Anyone know if those moneybookers and clickandbuy are good? And what's the difference from directly purchasing with credit card?

FYI, credit card transactions on GamersGate go through Moneybookers. So there really is little difference between using your credit card or Moneybrookers.
As far as know though, both Moneybookers and Clickandbuy are similar to PayPal.
Can't tell you more than that as I can't use Moneybookers (credit card companies will not transfer funds to them here).
As for clickandbuy, I'd avoid them. But then I've heard way too many stories of them issuing chargebacks on their own or not transferring funds at all.
It doesn't help that clickandbuy also issued such a chargeback on several purchases my sister made last year. The chargeback was issued without her consent and caused no end of problems.

Moneybookers has a more decent WOT rating than Paypal, but they blocked my available credit cards, so there's no way I can buy through them now.
anyone knows how many activations are on those securoms?
I've never bought from GG, but from what I've read, they don't worry about activations. If you run out, just contact them and they give you a new key with more activations. I've seen this reported consistently, so I tend to believe it's the way they operate.
Two questions.
1. Has anyone played Loki? How is it and does it have DRM on it?
2. Does The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut have any form of DRM on it? It says "Other DRM" so I have no idea what that means.
Thanks

VAT is usually the excuse however each country has it's own rate of VAT where as the publishers set a fixed amount (usually the highest possible).

Loki is a diablo clone, it's average but at that price it's well worth it.

If it says DRM free you can use the workaround to back the files up (when the game is downloaded the installer will start, simply copy the temporary files to another folder and you can back them up), i know titan quest has no DRM on it even though it doesn't say DRM free it just uses a cd key. I'm still downloading loki so i will let you know shortly.
Other DRM usually means an online activation through the games website i know simon the sorceror 5 did it that way.
