That game does exist though, but yea, luckily no-one here asked for it.

Also, the Tainted Coil in Brutal Legend. Their vehicles are the only thing they have that isn't a living creature, and they also produce units through gross boils growing bigger and bigger until they pop.

(this totally isn't a necro disguised as a real post)

Check out the Prototype games. They aren't strategy games though.
