ginsengsamurai: Hey everyone...
It's me again. ^_^

I was looking through my GoG list and noticed I haven't installed half of them yet. Mind you, I've played 90% of them at a different time though. For example, I bought Sim City 2000 SE the other day, but I will probably never install it. Probably because I've played it to death years and years ago when I first got the game.

So my question is this: Have you bought games here at GoG or from another place, but never install it? If so, why not and do you think you will install it in the future?
Most of the GOG games I buy are for archival, there's a few exceptions, I've never played Theme Hospital, for example, so that's actually one I got for playing. Also, games that I keep coming back to, like Sacrifice, also get played. But most of them are so that I have a DRM free archival copy that actually has a chance in hell of working 20 years from now.
About 80% of that list

Which I just noticed isn't even complete. Apart from that, I'm buying mostly to support GOG and because I want to show that those games still can sell.
Most of the games I buy these days I don't install. Though in the case of GOG it's more like I buy a game, install it, have some trouble to get the game to run well, or decide it just feels too old, and not play it.

And yes, I know that GOG is selling old games, but apparently my tolerance level for crappy graphics and bad controls has gone down with the years.

Having exactly the same situation here. Well, I'm keeping them for the future.

I know what you mean. Though I am not entirely intolerant of old/crappy graphics. But some things specifically annoy me about old graphics effects or styles and so I chose to not play them, which is a shame because I'm probably missing out on some good games. I am definitely mostly tolerant of things that are similar to/I have played before (looks/controls wise) because that way at least I have some nostalgia for it I guess.
