All lists always fail.
If I made MY list - many of you would say I fail. But if you made your list, some more people would laugh at you.

The main problem I see with this list is that the games are judged according to different criterias. No way WoW, Tropico 3, SoaSolarEmpire and PvsZ get there for the same reason.

Well there is at least one thing that came from this list. I hadn't heard of Tropico 3. The graphics look sweet.

It is a list of top, important or otherwise worthy games.

Therefore it is wrong.

It is impossible to write such a list of games.

Nobody should attempt it.

With one exception...

lol what happened to the gta games? nfs games? age of empires?

That's what I was thinking and that's the first one listed in the last spot. XD
I think the GTA titles fit under the Best Console Games list.

Apparently a lot of people had problems with the PC ports.

The first thing I would do is strike Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic from the list, since the PC version came out like half a year after the console version. I think that's insulting enough to not include it on the list of best PC games. There might be others on the list like this, I have not played them all..

Bioshock should not be on that list either, especially not #2. It was a good game, but definitely not top 25? C'mon.

Here's a few wonderful PC games that are missing from the list that I think are better or more deserving than ones on there:

The Witcher (duh)
X3: Reunion
Gothic 1 or 2
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Doom 3
King's Bounty TL or AP
F.E.A.R.
Baldur's Gate II SOA (released in 2000)

I agree. I haven't played it, but it looks like a good game. I just never looked at it as top 25 of the last ten years good.

Overall it's not a bad list. Naturally there is plenty I would change, but it's not something I look at and just wonder in disbelief how they could have possibly constructed a more commercially driven list. That has been the case for quite a few of these things.

I'm glad to see Tropico 3 made it on there. I don't think enough people recognise how great it really is.
