Gary Moore died this Sunday on holiday in Spain, aged only 58.
Another of the greatest ones passing way to early.

Distressing news. It hasn't been a good start to 2011. Out in the Fields
Way to early indeed... I'll be regretting I missed that last gig in these parts a little over a year ago for a long time.
He was on my list of ones i wanted to see live, never expected it to be him i'd never get the chance to see, a true legend
Rest in peace, Gary Moore. You will be missed.
R.I.P Gary you will always be remembered
One of THE MOST UNDERRATED guitarists of our time.

Gary, most people would rather listen to shit music than you. You deserved so much more fame than you had.

Now go rock Jesus' ears off, blues man!
Damn thats depressing, he was a top guitarist
Yea, i've read about it today.
Only [usually] the good die young.
Doesn't Phil Lynott look a little bit like Richard Ayoade? Seriously Channel 4, release a Region 1 DVD of Darkplace.

I think this Gary Moore only spells his name with one "r". The one with two "r"s was an old American TV game show host, who's already been dead for nearly 20 years.

I really liked Skid Row, and how Moore and Fleetwood Mac sorta ping-ponged "influence" on each other's music. Not to speak ill of the dead, but I never fully understood the decision to sell the band name.

I'll tell you what, I'll bet you when I get home that "The Boys Are Back In Town" will play at least four times an afternoon, if I know that particular DJ as well as I think I do.
RIP. Rock on.
