I've had this lying around for far too long and I should really give it to someone. I personally thought it was a great game. Interesting story, sensible puzzles, and one of the few point and click adventure games where I didn't get hopelessly stuck and have to look up a walkthrough.

To enter, post a link to your steam profile and tell us what your all-time favourite adventure game is. Maybe even why. I'll random.org the winner in an hour or two (depending on # of entrants).

Edit: Delayed in case anyone else wants to enter.

not entering as I already have it here and yes it is a great game, but +1 for the giveaway
Not entering, but thanks and +1! :)
I'll enter (as someone recently suggested the game to me) - though I'll PM my steam ID if thats okay?!

Whilst I'll always love B.A.S.S. my favourite has to be In Cold Blood - it was probably the first I ever owned, and a couple of years after I did some freelance work for Revolution. Turned out I managed to get past the one puzzle / "glitch" the in house guys couldnt manage - I kinda felt quite proud and it opened the door to so many more adventure games. I also found it to be a good bridge in later years between the classic 2D puzzle solving adventure and elements of action that seemed to be enhanced / brought to the fore with the wave of 3D games that were its contemporaries or followed.

PS: Thanks for the giveaway!

Same name as on here. Same avatar. I should be easy to find.

Actually I am really interested in this game because I really liked blackwell. The story about a spiritual medium woman who is dragged into this world she didn't know existed. It really was a great series.

All time is hard to say. I want to say one of the lucasarts PAC adventures. Sam and Max perhaps? Monkey Island? Loom? Maniac Mansion 2: Day of the tentacle? Indiana jones and the fate of atlantis? Hard to say.

Actually, thinking about it, my favorite in terms of the most badass character, the best setting, the most interesting characters to me has to be Full Throttle. I'm gonna say that.

-You know what might look better on your nose? -What? -The bar.
-She said she'd fix my bike. Free. No strings attached. I should of known then that things are never that simple.

all time favorite is kinda hard, but I'll offer one that most people won't mention: Gateway II. It's really old, almost in between the IF and point-click eras, but it left me with a lasting impression, with tough but fair puzzles and an engaging plot. You don't need to have played the first game or have read the novels to enjoy it. Unfortunately it's pretty hard core by today's standards. Anyway hope you check it out

I'll delay this about 4 hours in case anyone else is around and wants to enter.
I am in.

My steam ID is http://steamcommunity.com/id/lukslo/

My favorite adventure game ... hmmmm ...
I will go with Bond, no ups, Calavera, Manny Calavera from Grim Fandango.
Maybe that was one of my first adventure games I played (a friend borrowed it to me), had many hours of fun, with all the jokes in it and let's say, "special" characters :)

Thanks for this giveaway!
Im not really fond of adventure games but if I rarely get myself into that genre then it must be something unique. For old game this go to Beneath a Steel Sky for overall cyberpunk theme and many interesting areas (mostly in middle of the game and straight from the beginning. As for modern game that probably go to The Longest Journey, another one with strong cyberpunk vibe merged with fantasy elements in place of Arcadia (it's sequel proved to be even better but little too short).

If action adventure also counts, I liked Fahrenheit for it's story narrative and plot (detective themes with paranormal phenomena) but these QTE were annoying.
