Hello.

So, today I crafted 7 coal and got Puzzle Agent on steam. I've already had that game for quite a while on Telltale, so that is why I'm making this small contest.

I know the game isn't too expensive itself and it also is on steam (It seems that some of you guys don't exactly appreciate steam) but I hope someone will appreciate it.

How to enter:
1. Post in this thread.

I'll be using random.org on midnight in my timezone, which will be in around 3 hours. I'll announce the winner in this thread and PM him my steam profile, and then the game will be given to the winner trough the steam's trading feature.

EDIT: On second thought, I bet some GoG'ers will be with their families today, so I'm extending this 'till tomorrows midnight my time.

Good luck.

I'd like to enter this contest.
Also, thanks for the opportunity.
Initiating Step One.
Families are overrated, posting is where it's at!
Puzzle smuzzle!
thank you
Oh man, Puzzle Agent looked awesome! Is it any good? :D

Some puzzles had minor flaws, but ultimately, it's very enjoyable experience. Not to mention that it has a sequel.

The only real con would be the shortness of it.

Well, it's quite nice of you to give away a code. Neat contest!
Here is a puzzle that I remember from early elementary school (2nd or possibly 3rd grade):
There are 3 bags containing black or white marbles. You know that their labels are all incorrect. One says "black", one says "white" and one says "black & white". You are allowed to pick one marble from a single bag to figure out what all the other bags contains. Which should you pick from?

The one that is labeled 'Pizza'.
Been thinking of checking it out sometime, since it seems like it would be different from Telltale's other games. So I'll enter.
I'm bored so I'm giving a thorough look at AFnord's puzzle.

Scenario one: You pick a marble from the bag that says "White".
-If the result is a black marble, you know the bag is either "Black" or "White and Black"
-If the result is a white marble, you know the bag is "White and Black".

Scenario two: You pick a marble from the bag that says "Black".
-If the result is a white marble, you know the bag is either "White" or "White and Black"
-If the result is a black marble, you know the bag is "White and Black".

Scenario three: You pick a marble from the bag that says "White and Black"
-If the result is a white marble, you know the bag is "White".
-If the result is a black marble, you know the bag is "Black".

---

Scenario one (The "White" bag):
- I got a white marble, which means the bag I'm holding is the "White and Black" bag. Since each of the labels are incorrect, the bag that says "Black" is actually the "White" bag. And the bag that says "White and Black" is actually "Black".
- I got a black marble, which means I could be holding either "Black" bag or "White and Black" bag. The remaining bag is "White", that's for sure. I guess there is no way of telling.

Scenario two (The "Black bag"):
-Same as above, just switched colors.

Scenario three (The "White and Black" bag):
-If I picked a white marble, I know I'm holding the "White" bag. Since the labels are incorrect in each of the bags, then the "Black" bag must be the real "White and Black" bag. And the "White" bag must be the real "Black" bag.
-If I picked a black marble, my bag must be the "Black" bag. Again, each of the labels are incorrect; that means the bag that says "Black" is actually "White". The bag that says "White" is actually "White and Black".

So, if you're given a task such as this, you should pick a marble from the bag that says it sports both colors. Hope I didn't screw up anything in the final explanation :D

DProject: ...
Oh, WELL done. Elegant solution! It took me almost an hour for a RuneScape miniquest that was a version of this old riddle.

edit: And yikes, I've really overposted if he's going to random.org this. I withdraw myself from the running and apologize, didn't mean to fiddle with the percentages.
