Sometimes as I grow older I think to myself about all the things i've done in my life....and all the things I once thought were true which I now know are false, or things which I hated before I now love & vice versa. Over time I feel i've grown and stumbled both mentally and physically, and sometimes I feel it'd be nice if i'd written more down to remember it all better and see how I measure up between then and now.
As such, i'd like to start a thread of sorts for future goggers to read through and think on....a time capsule of sorts. Basically anyone who wants to add to it should send me a PM of what they want to add before adding it and once I check it over and ok it people can then add it to this thread/capsule. I ask this so the first page or so can be just lists of things added to the time capsule, with only one post per user until everyone has added what they want to it.
Of course once your post is added you can edit it to add things/correct grammar/etc until the cutoff of this upcoming Friday, after which the original posts/capsule will be "closed" from further changes....and everyone else can talk(bot not contribute new submissions/etc officially) about the submissions and thread topic further.
Rules:
1. PM me with your basic post's/contrib's gist before adding to let me ok it....don't post in here at all (barring rule#2) until Friday.
2. New contributers have until Wednesday to submit possible contribution posts to me and have them ok'd to be posted in the thread, upon being ok'd they can then add them as replies to this thread......otherwise non-contributers/others please do not add a reply to this thread for other reasons until after the contribution post cutoff.
3. All contributers who have been ok'd before the cutoff for new contributions can add to their original post/contribution post or edit it until friday....after which the capsule is "closed" to additions, and all other replies can be made as usual to discuss the thread and the posts contributed to it.

+At one point I thought HD-DVD was going to make it,a dn that it was a viable medium for storage/media.
+I never thought i'd see a place like Gog offer abandonware/retro games for legal sale for decent prices back when I was a young teen.
