I saw a little bit of this at QuakeCon, and it looked awesome. A friend of mine who also went got a chance to play and said it was one of the most fun multiplayer games he'd ever played.
I've seen a few videos and it's looks fairly nice but I'll probably wait for a sale and grab it for under $25. I was somewhat snake-bit by Borderlands and although Global Agenda is vaguely similar the fact that there is an MMO component to it bodes well for actual support/updating. That said I doubt I'll bother with the subscription. I stopped playing WoW almost a year ago because I felt the pace of their content updates wasn't worth the $15 and that was Blizzard. I don't see this company being able to meet my arguably picky expectations -- from what I've heard described by people in beta and the developer the 'persistent world' feature is a bit lacking.

Monthly subscription fee will be required or not? I think this game is MMO and they need fee? Anyone knows this?

No, the monthly subscription is not required. It's only necessary if you want to access certain parts of the game.

"Certain parts of the game", hmpf. Usually, that means "the un-crippled version". I must admit it looks cool though. The "No Elves" trailer cracked me up.
Yeah, the guy who owns the company that develops the game is actually a former MLB player (oh god no) but it looks like Section 8 but better. Or something with big guns and flying and doing cool shit. Would I buy it at full price? Ehhhh no.
I pre-ordered it.
Rather looking forward to it.
The part that sold me was that the enviroment and economy was exclusively player controlled and one of their main goals was to make the whole economy and agency thing smiliar to eve online.. and I adore eve onlines system ( its like real life politics, just in a game, woo! )
The beta for pre-orderes will start in january. If this topic is still alive by then, I will post my thoughts as far as the NDA allows.

You mean boring as hell, and nothing you do makes any difference whatsoever? :-D

Pretty much. Except that you can blast them to space dust if you happen to catch a lucky break.
And not go to jail for it.

I can certainly think of a few politicians I wouldn't mind blasting to space dust...
So I got it from the Steam deal and wow. I friggin love it. The chat is filled with Reddit-style BS but the game itself is great. And there are JETPACKS

Still waiting on a daily deal for it to drop lower -- otherwise... I'll just keep waiting! From everything I've read in the half year since my original post in this thread it's still basically just bland and repetitive PvE with TF2 like PvP.
Good chance I'll buy this game if it goes cheaper on Steam
EDIT: oops, it looks like they took the trial down at the same time that they removed the subscription fees. Well, that sucks.

So... many months later... how is this game? Anyone played it?
