Take this with a grain of salt, since it's a guy in a forum, but a poster on the RPS forums is listing what appears to be leaked THQ info. Of note for here:

"I had also heard that THQ had tried to work with 'an eastern european company' (possibly GoG) to get a re-release of the previous Homeworld games going, but it never worked out (presumably stripping WON out of Homeworld and Homeworld: Cataclysm and writing a whole new multiplayer back-end was too expensive). "

I don't think that would stop GOG from releasing it since people would still buy it for sp, unless WON was owned by someone else intent on kicking up a fuss.

That's not GOG. GOG is central european company. But 1C is eastern, so.... good?
