fabricioz: I know GOG stands for good OLD games, but this system is so perfect and flawless...
Aren't you guys willing to create a division or parallel service to publish NEW quality games, like independent ones?
I ask it as a developer (third party) myself.
I doubt GOG staff is against offering newer games here, but I doubt many devs or publishers would be willing to offer their new games for GOG prices (9.99 and 5.99 $) or accept other GOG terms (no DRM and global distribution rights). There was an interview where one of the GOG staff mentioned that they are considering adding more price points in future (both higher and lower) but even 14.99 $ price point would be too low price for new games. That might be enough for some indie titles however. Problem with higher price points would be that some of the publishers would use only those even if current price tags are considered too high for most people (Ubisoft mostly). Benefit obviously would be possibility to have more and newer titles here.
If you are really a developer interested in GOG, I advice you to directly contact GOG staff. I'm sure they're interested in talking with you.
