WHen I try to log into the GOG downloader, it isn't recognizing my login. I entered email and password (which I used the other week just fine), no dice. I even changed my password (which I could do because the main website recognizes my login) and no luck. How can I download my games? I can login to my account just fine on the website, but not the downloader!!

The downloader is optional and quite broken at the moment. Just download them via your browser for now.

Strange. It works last night. Downloaded TA: Kingdoms fine.

Maybe something for the support team to sort out.

First things first, are you using the latest version, v0.9.0.1372? It fixed many known bugs with authentication.

If yes, could you please contact support regarding this issue and link to this topic? It could be something as simple as a special character in your credentials, but for obvious reasons we shouldn't discuss your password on the public forums :)

Mine did this too. I didn't sweat it too much because I don't really need the downloader anyway.

It seems that it works only if your password is purely alphanumeric. I just managed to get it to log in by changing my password.

edit: I like this downloader. It's lightweight and very nice to use. May I recommend adding an option to remove the titlebar and window borders? I think that would look very stylish.

Yup, but this should have been bugfixed in v1372 (latest one atm). Can you please try using your old password in the latest version of the downloader?

I am using that version. Interesting... it seems like I can no longer set my GOG password to something containing a < character. I can use a > character instead, but if the password has one of those then the downloader doesn't accept it. Other punctuation marks that I've tried seem to work fine on both the website and the downloader.

Very funny with the login, had the same problem but i really believe that you always should
write the email adress with lowercased characters, especially if you have capitalized ones
in it, password is surely case-sensitive. Worked for me.

My problem was capitalizing certain letters in my email. I typed it all lowercase and it worked fine!

What exactly is the problem that you're having? The only suggestion I can offer at the moment is to make sure that you enter your email address using only lowercase letters.
