I was thinking just recently: Why doesn't GOG have their exclusive trailers on the GOG game pages? Duke nukem 3D? Syberia?

Better yet, why doesn't EVERY game in the catalogue have a trailer on the frontpage like Witcher 2 does? Why does Steam offer trailers on the gamepages for most games and yet GOG only has them for TW2?

Sure, I understand that many old games do not even have trailers but GOG could at least do it for the ones that have them?

Any chance of this impletemented on the website in the future?

That would be nice. Videos can more more helpful than screenshots sometime. It'd be nice to have "official" gameplay videos or trailers rather than sifting through all of the "Let's Play" videos out there to find one that doesn't have some annoying.... well, I should stop there. I felt a minor rant coming on. lol

That would be pretty cool I think too. I have a great idea (well, maybe) if GOG doesn't want to create the trailers themselves, they could have us GOG'ers create our own trailers for games, and if GOG likes them enough, they can post them and give the person a code to a game if they want one. Just an idea to save GOG time and effort, and create more fun for us in the community here too. :)

Actually there are some exclusive trailers for early releases (available on youtube) but they dropped preparing such goodies long time ago…Trailers are nice but GOG better invest time on important stuff like: QA, support and catalogue growth..

yeah I think GOG only did it for TW2 because it was a brand new game and they just used the trailers that were for its launch. :)

It would be nice for the other games as well, but as others have noted there are things which should take priority. As the company grows (hopefully) they will be able to devote so time to doing that. A community driven project might work, though for some of the less ... popular games, it might be awhile before they got even half-decent trailers. :) Plus there are problems about ownership of the videos when used for advertising if the community submits them, etc ... However, in general I am supportive of trailers for GOG games.
