It’s on like Donkey Kong! Have a burning question that needs answering? Feel the need to find out what it sounds like when a Frenchman, a Polish native, and an American with hearing in one ear try to sing “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey?* Ask us any question you’d like, from now until noon or so EDT, and we’ll pick as many as we can to answer for you. You can either leave a comment here in the forums, or else hit us up @gogcom on Twitter and ask us there instead.

Sadly, Marcin has contracted a case of food poisoning and is busy at home being wretchedly sick. We know, you were looking forward to more meme-y goodness. We hope that we will suffice, by ourselves.

This is our eight surprise in GOG.com's Holiday Celebrations. Don't know what we're talking about? For the first two weeks of December, we're going to reveal a little something for you once a day, until December 14 when we reveal the BIG surprise!

*Note: We will not sing Journey--or anything else--no matter how much you ask.
Here are my questions.

Site questions

Most important to me:

1) Is it possibile to redo the bookshelf? I would really like to be able to see only the spines of some games, and be able to keep like 25-50 in a row.

and the others:

2) Are you still working on the site, what imrovements are planned, what kind of changes we should expect in future, if any?

3) Are you going to create fully functional Wishlist? With no duplicate entries and possibility to see all entries.

4) Back in beta days it was generally tuesday that was the release day (plus, for some time, thursday). Is it possible to go back to that custom? I don't like the way it is now, when we don't know what day new game is going to be released.

5) In one of your interviews I read that you are going to send Baldur's Gate free codes to a big publishers you haven't signed yet, to convince them to join GOG. Did that work, and I'm not asking about results, but I wonder if now, after Infinity Games are here, is it easier to talk about new deals with publishers that are not on board yet.

Games questions

Most important to me:

6) What are the chances of getting old SSI crpgs on board? I'm not asking when, because I know you'd get them immediately if it was possible. This question is generally about copyrights, and I would like to know, If this is the case that is it impossible or almost impossible to work things out. I'd kill Raajat to get Dark Sun 1 + 2 pack, and I wonder if I should get cd form ebay or wait for you guys.

7) Is there any problem with other Sierra games? Police Quest, Quest for Glory, Laura Bow, Leisure Suit Larry, Ecoquest, Freddy Pharkas, that a lot of classic adventures that are still not on board. I assume there are some copyrights issues (probably Police Quest, Laryy), but other games should not be a problem.

8) Can we get Space QUest 1 VGA remake (official)? For 9.99$ it should be included. As for King's Quest, afair there was none, only fan remakes.

9) Question about Ubisoft - can we get more Ubisoft titles? Top of the list: Panzer General series, old Prince of Persia, Blue Byte (they are Ubisoft Blue Byte now) titles such as Albion (rpg), Ugh!, and the gem I played on Commodore 128, but there was PC version - Iron Lord (!). This also includes SSI crpgs titles.

All question are well thought, and I wanted to asked some of them for a long time. I hope to get answers for all of them, but I don't need youtube video, if my questions are too long, please post the answer.
1. Why did no one from the GOG team sign up for my mafia game?

2. Will you sign up for the next game when and if that is to be hosted?
Oh Oh!(1) can we at least all get 1 free gog.com game of are choice without a contest
(2)you ever think consoles will replace pc's
(3) will you please put the lacasarts games on your site
(4) will you please put system shock 2 on your site
(4) can you please put quake 1 + misson packs and doom1+2 and wolfenstine 3D
Thanks

Seriously, you must sing Journey.

I'm never purchasing a GOG game again if this doesn't happen. I'm dead serious.

Also, Marcin: what does it feel like to simultaneously be an Internet meme and food poisoned?
Alright, here are a couple of my questions:

1: How are the Negotiations going with Bethesda and Zenimax? They own ID now as well, I hope you understand for yourself how important getting classics from them would be but the most important question: WHEN IS THE ELDER SCROLLS SERIES COMING HERE? I am talking about all the games: Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind GOTY, Oblivion GOTY - All of them need to make their way here, when are you planning to get them?

2: How are the talks and negotiations going with other Big publishers? By "Big publishers" I mean publishers like Electronic Arts, Square enix (who owns Eidos), Konami, Capcom and so on...I would like to know how your progress is

3: Are you planning to Enchance/Rework the Game shelf? I would like to see more options on this, like making multiple shelves and more options to reorganise the games or even hiding games that you dont want (Teenagent)

4: I know a GOG.com team member already said that you have plans to rework the wishlist but I think you really need to put more attention into this and let us know when the changes are coming, because it is in need of DIRE reworking

that would be about it, hope to hear your answers soon, ESPECIALLY for number 1 :)
I love the site, and I think you guys are awesome but I must know:

What is your favourite type of cheese?
1.are you considering that carmageddon could be available somwhere in the future?
2.is it possible to add some kind of a client to play games directly from bookshelf like on steam?
Is GOG prepared to engage in a legal battle with Nintendo?
1) There is any chance to add the remaining Might and Magic titles (Might and Magic 7 - For Blood and Honor; Might & Magic 8 - Day of the Destroyer; Might and Magic 9) to the catalogue?

2) Also there is any chance to see Wizardry (specially Wizardry 8) titles added too?

3) The Birthright - Gorgon's Alliance (Sierra), any chance too?
Any chance you'll be selling the System Shock games in the future?

Also how are the releases negoitated? As in how are fees and the like generally arranged with the various developers?

1) Why do you still think that monk thing was funny? You ticked off and alienated lot of your users.
Are there going to be more games with publishers that you guys have signed deals with?
Question for the fine GOG team:

When you have a deal with a certain publisher, why do you only release certain games from their catalogue and not others?
For example, Sierra - you have released Kings Quest / Space Quest etc but not Quest for Glory / Leisure Suit Larry and many others.

Do your deals with the publishers only include certain games, but not their whole back catalogue?

Thanks for listening guys - keep up the good work.

Oh - and get well soon Marcin!
