OK, I make a newbie error & now I'm a bad guy?
I hadn't expected appliance type to give any useful information.
I had hoped to create a profile list, similar to the one I did based on geographical location, and about as useful....

1) Is mafia and made a bad attempt at inventing a fake role,

2) Is mafia and is a bin (non electrical) and it didn't occur to him that he'd be outing himself,

3) Is innocent and made some kind of weird mistake that I've yet to think of an explanation for or

4) Is an electric bin (WTF!?).

Seems a bit hard to say for sure, as we have no knowledge of what others are, except that I can conclude that both you and Vitek (and others) have something with electrical.. and yes - it does say that we are all still plugged in.. Hmm

Well for now I won't draw any conclusions based on power consumption or not.

1) The other games I've watched made it clear that early and unforced claiming is a bad idea.

2) I made no correlation between types of appliances. I don't know what the rest of you are. Are you all electrical? NOT ASKING FOR MORE CLAIMS!!

3) My weird mistake was trying to drum up conversation. The thinking was "a name is a name, nothing more"; an innocent topic more inclusive than half baked math.

4) No plug on me (that I've ever noticed), just a pedal & a lid...

3) If you looked at GoG Mafia 3, all of the townies were Jacks, and the Mafia was using a different name (or a variation that quite frankly was not Jack)

4) That's what we're all looking at, I've NEVER heard a Trash Bin called an appliance.

Game 3, it looks like only 1 mafia was found, so would that have held true for all of them?
Game 2 had a subset of players (described as school....) NOT all of these were mafia.

The whole pluuged/unplugged or appliance/object thing: I hadn't given this any thought until I put my foot in it. I'm gona blame Damnation. Perhaps he couldn't think of 12 electrical appliances that belong in a kitchen? I'm also gonna refer back to my Conspiracy Theory.

Truth be told if we were forced to name-claim day 1 we would maybe lost the game. At least because my first fake claim I prepared would be counter-claimed.


I don't think no. 2 is the case. As well as Damnation was killed by unplugging, flavour text in post 3 says "Go unplug some scummy whiteware."
I see 3 options there.
1. He indeed is non-electrical trash bin. But then he is not appliance, right? Quite weird when this is supposed to be company of appliances.
2. He is scum and tried to make up some claim to distant himself from above sentence as much as possible. His real name could be something obivous as scum and he wanted to appear as some unharmful can
3. Something else perhaps? 3rd party?

This is not kitchen appliance meeting, this is household appliance meeting. First of all, first killed is vacuum cleaner, not exactly kitchen appliance.

I doesn't believe you more and more. It's late though and I can'T tihink straight right now so I have to make a clear opinion tomorrow.

For game 3 there were two Mod posts after the game concluded showing the role PMs, which showed this. Game 2 I have to reread but I have a suspicion there too.

As for everything else, honestly, I think there's enough appliances if you look closely enough. And while it seems like a mistake, I really can't ignore this any longer.

Agreed, at first I didn't push for a soft claim fearing something set for retribution if we did.

At this point, I'm forced to say, either Mafia or some 3rd party. I can't imagine this being some random coincidence. I would like to see what everyone else thinks though about this.

That's about as damning as I can come up with, short of actually saying it should be taken literally.

Having said that, If I had expected such a response, or an outright "Literal", asking the question would have been suicide.
