The "Pay What You Want" can be purchased from GOG.com starting now until 01:00 AM GMT on the 18th of October, 2012.

Set your own fair price for the classic Divine Divinity, where you become the chosen one, destined to fulfil an ancient prophecy and save the Seven Races of Rivellon. In this extensive, challenging, and very addictive game you will encounter many different enemies and a great variety of items, NPCs, and quests.

The top 10% of our most generous users will also grant themselves an early access to the upcoming Divinity 2: Developer's Cut.The Developer's Cut, which is the ultimate edition of the game, comes with Divinity II and the expansion Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance, as well as a special developer's mode and extra goodies, will be available on PC on the 18th of October, 2012, but if you buy it here you will get to play it a day earlier than everyone else! The "Director's Cut" subtitle also means, that you'll have the unique opportunity to experience the game just as the developers did: with optional access to developer console you'll feel like the god of the realm.

But that's not all! All of the games come with an extensive amount of goodies--especially Divinity 2: Developer's Cut features a crazy amount of bonus materials (all of which you can access as soon as you finalize your purchase). To make things even more interesting, Larian Games told us that as the sales progress, they will be releasing some very special announcements and interesting videos. Heard enough? Asbeau: So if I already own Divine Divinity and I want Beyond Divinity, I can get the second game for $8.99 instead of the usual $5.99?
avatar
JMich: Actually, you'd get both games for $8.99 instead of $11.98, with Divine Divinity being a gift code you can give to someone else.
I'm not sure this is true. TET mentions one code above.

keeveek: The average goes high pretty fast. How somebody was able to pledge 99 bucks if the maximum amount for me is 39?
avatar
G-Doc: The slider goes as far as $39, but you can click the price and input it manually. $99, huh? Nice. Larian has some devoted fans :-D
Yeah, but you should put more visible info about ability to set your individual price, just sayin.

So? Redeem the code yourself, getting BD for you, and leaving DD with the gift code. Pass the code to someone else, he gets DD.
Plus, he was responding to someone who has both DD and BD, telling him he gets one gift code, not one per game.

TheEnigmaticT: You can type in any amount by clicking on the number next to the "Checkout Now" button.
You guys should probably make it more clear that's an option. The big old slider seems to take precedence, but if you actually click the "average" or "top" dots on the bar, it moves the slider to the next price point BELOW them. I even had it drop my order down out of the top bracket in the middle of the checkout screen!

I think this promo needs a little tech love still.
The offer is quite cool, but one think could be better - the novellas. PDF is not an e-book. You can't read it properly on e-book readers with e-ink. Some epub or mobi, or even simple rtf would be better.
Wow hope this does weill, I hope i have loads of cash left in my bank on friday,

Ill try and pledge $20 or more at least when i can, I already own the 2 divinity games on GOG but i really want D2 Dev cut I rather liked D2 but i dont play it because i own my copy on steam, DRM free version is much what i want :D

(I do know that theres a official DRM Free patch too, Its just not the same)

Pretty sure it doesn't work like that. Can anyone who's bought it and used the code confirm?
Games are not for me, but the promo is a nice idea! Good to see some experimentation on GOG. :)
Sorry to say this, but very suspicious to see 99$ by anonymous (we all set mark our buys by the nicknames on site?) it is like the devs pumping sales. Maybe we should start making 0,01$ buys to set down the price? ¬¬
Yay, happy birthday my shelf! (having 100 games now) :D
100+ hours for divinity 2 is this true had it and the expansion on steam and lucky if i got 40 hours. has more stuff been added?

No, it isn't. Every bundle ever has had people voice their support by making large donations.

bevinator: I foresee the "top 10%" thing working very poorly along with the discrete price points. As soon as it gets to another whole number, the average will jump up again, so by the end of the promo you'll have to pay quite a bit if you want Div2, instead of the average eventually stabilizing like in other bundles. Good for early adopters, I suppose, but towards the end of the promo you might be better off just buying it somewhere else... EDIT: Apparently you really CAN input your own price. You guys should really make that more obvious.
I guess someone would make drop the top price point by compulsively buying bundles for 0.01$.
Yesss, great! But since I already own Divinity II (some nice deal during the last Steam sale), I contented myself with picking up the first two games... but first I'm going to busy just a little while longer discovering Tyria.
EricV from what people are saying its different than the steam version.
