I was wondering, do you think if GOG should have a third (or fourth if you count free) pricing option, that would be around 2 dollars. This price range could be reserved for older, smaller games.
I'm asking, because while the current prices are pretty good and fitting for some games (I would gladly pay more than 5.99 of Arcanum, and I did actually), but for some games even that 5.99 seems a bit too steep, like I wouldn't pay that for Kings Quest 1, but I could buy it for couple of bucks (disclaimer: I actually got the whole Kings Quest series sans Mask in a Roberta Williams Anthology)
Now, I know, that old Sierra games come in bundles, of whic 5.99 is a a pretty good price, but what about some older titles, of whic have nothing to be bundled with?

GOG is already considering adding new price points, both higher ones (probably up to 14.99) and lower one of 3.99 but it's not a priority (2 $ probably would only barely cover the cost of trasaction and download so I doubt they consider such a low pricepoint).

Thanks for pointing that out. It's good to see, that that GOG is also paying attention to this, so perhaps at some point there will be more variation in pricing.
There is of course the danger that publishers will ask for the $15 price point for a game that many people would hesitate to buy at $6 and shoot themselves in the foot. Ghost recon springs to mind, no addons and $10 is a bit steep

Yeah, I think there are several games on GOG that are over priced; Master of Orion 3 comes to mind as an example for me. Even if there were a 50% off sale they would still "feel" a bit over priced.

Mikee states this is one of the very reasons they don't haste to introduce a higher price point.

Yep, if we get $15 as a price point, then everything new from Ubisoft will be priced at $15. Better to not give them the option. If a game is too new to sell for $9.99, it's too new for GOG in the first place. That's my opinion.
