We've already [url=https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/411178_10151132738072657_1942233417_o.jpg" target="_blank]decorated our tree[/url]. We've started the sale. But seems like we're forgetting something.

Oh! That's right! It's not the holidays without a chance to visit GOG.com, looking for new and interesting ways that Coala has photo-chopped wintery iconography into them. It's a tradition that we're continuing for our fourth year!

The contest is simple: go through our catalog; we've edited 12 images, scattered across our wide selection of games, to include obvious holiday references, such as santa hats, Christmas trees, or reindeer. For an example, take a look at one of our screenshots from last year:

When you’ve got them all, list them all in an email to "contest@gog.com" with the subject line being "GOG.com 2012 Scavenger Screenshot Hunt". From every valid application we will pick 10 winners who got all the games right and gift them two games from the entire catalog. The contest ends on Tuesday December 25th 2012 11:59 GMT.

Or, I suppose, on the 21st of December when the world erupts in fire and doom. But if we're still around after that, then we'll end the contest officially on the 24th. ;)

I am also still offering hints, assuming you have found 11 out of 12 first.
Be aware though that both me and Novotnus are Europe based, and we do have a life outside the GOG.com forum, so don't despair if we don't reply immediately.

Been through the entire catalog 3 times now and best I can do is 10 out of 12, the last 2 I just can't seem to find!

Giving up on it now, getting RSI from all the clicking!!

I needed a 2nd run but at last I found all 12, I guess. I wouldn't have done it for a third time. Some are really tricky to find. And there was one title that made me wonder, because it had yellow stars in it. But that was game graphics at all.

There's no thumbnail shown, no matter which browser I use. Do overview pictures count or only banners?

Hints went to everybody who asked and had 11 already.
Hope they'll be helpful and no mistakes were made on my part (like sending hints for a game that already is on somebody's list) but I've just spent 6h in a bus and I'm literally dying ; )

my god ive spent nearly 2 days on this thing (on and off)
and i though i was there and now i have 13!!! :(
not to mention a list of almost 16 possibles that i was keeping.

I have check the catalogue for the third time... the last one I was 11/12 and I still on the same point. I am really, really stuck and I don't know if checking the catalogue again is gonna help :(

Anyone wants to help me a bit to get the last one?

PS.- There's one -a probably 12th-, but I'm not sure if that's actually what we are supposed to be looking at.

EDIT, 5:25 AM, after 3 LoL matches:

Found the twelve, adambiser was kind enough to offer me help, but curiously I could find it before receiving the hint lol. I don't know how I missed it. If anyone is desperate, PM to give you a hint.

LOL! Ah yes, I completely forgot that clever caption. I finished this thing the day it began and forgot most of the details in the days since. That was great, though. Definitely my favorite of the edits.
