Hi,

my name is Soccorro and i think I'm addicted... I signed up to get Blood, SW and Duke nukem... but then one thing lead to another and within 9 months i ended up having 204 games in my shelf... and i have only tried half of them so far. *cough* well, thats my story, what about you?
I'm addicted to sex.
I came for the punch and pie, right now I'm at 329 games.

tinyE: I came for the punch and pie, right now I'm at 329 games.
Have you been punched yet though? Or at least taken a pie to the face?
I came here originally for Unreal Tournament and Fallout 1&2 games :P. 190 games (40 already this calendar year...its going up and up!!) :P
Yeah, I just came for the IE games (Baldur's Gate Series, Icewind Dale Series) and here I am at 222 video games in my library. Of those, I've probably played 10.
I almost bought 10 more, but the Hitman 3 game went off sale when I went to purchase last night, so all the other games were removed from my cart as well.
I came, I saw and I forgot to leave. A bit over 100 games, I have played the vast majority of them, but not through completion. I could, perhaps, have double that number, but I'm pretty picky about my selections.
I have well over a 100 but I feel better now that I can say I've played nearly all of them, not as many on here though as on Steam and consoles. Been using this as a backup for the other services because I trust GOG the most.
I joined to get Wasteland, and now I own 48 GOG games. Of those I have completed 2 (played to the end of the game), and I am currently working on the third.

Needless to say, I'm accumulating them faster than I can play them :)!

EDIT: I just went back over my games completed list, actually I have finished 5 already :) and working on my 6th. Also, many of the games I purchased from GOG are multi-paks, so although I have 48 "games" from GOG, many of those "games" actually include 2 or more separate games inside them.

You´re not alone, that´s for certain. I signed up as well because...heck, I don´t remember why I signed up ! I guess I did so in the same way I do for other sites, that is sign up and forget. And I had forgotten so much about it that I didn´t even join the summer sales-and also I was playing videogames during that time. I started actively purchasing games here only in the end of last October, and that because Rayman Forever was on sale along with other Ubisoft games, and it was the only game I wanted from a retail Rayman game pack costing 20 euros. Now, 5 months later, I have 50 purchased games here and about another 15 on Humble Bundle, while before I wasn´t much of a digital distribution fan.
Anyways, I totally love the DRM-free way, mainly because I think that an internet connection isn´t to be relied upon to be available at all times and I want to be in full control of my purchased content.
I´m also certain that I have started becoming addicted to GOG as I check almost everyday to see what new is happening and this not only for Classic and Indie Gem promos, but also for normal releases, although I don´t buy games on release, nor physical nor digital.
P.S. My backlog has gained now quite some size. I wonder when I´m going to manage to play all those games...

Treasure: I wonder when I´m going to manage to play all those games...
Short answer: Never. I have around 500 games acquired during the last year and a half. Needless to say I've played about 30% and finished about 3%

I came for the DRM-free games, and stick around for more DRM-free games.

I know this feeling of *oh, that game looks interesting; could be fun; and its only a few $$*.
In a way its addicting...only that i bought and played thousands of games before GOG.

I jumped right in and got the Infinity Engine bundle on sale, even though I owned and had even completed a couple of them!
I'm up to nearly 200 now and have completed 15, although some of them I'd finished before I bought them here (bundles and such)
I got through both Anachonox and Jade Empire pretty quick, even though they're not short, I just couldn't put them down!
