Okay, I've been following this trainwreck of a thread all day, and I have a few observations to make.
1. Judas made a faux pas. He was a bit too eager to fulfill his new role, and ended up sticking to the letter of the law, rather than the intention behind it. We all know and respect him (at least I assume most of us do), and I don't think any of us seriously hold it against him. Judas, I still love you man ;-)
2. It seems that it is generally agreed upon, even by TET, that censorship was not in fact needed in this case. I see no reason why the title should not simply be changed back, so everyone can get on with their lives (even though the discussion has been interesting).
3. Some of the posts here seem to focus on the word "ass" being, by definition, a swear word. That is ridiculous. For one thing, as evidenced by my earlier bible quote, is has more than one meaning. For another, there is a huge difference between calling someone an ass, using the word in sexual references or simply using a variation of the expression "to kick ass". It's all about context, see? Personally, I think that anyone who is offended by the term "to kick ass" has absolutely no business being on the forum of a site which sells Postal 2. And pretending that "GOG kicks ass" is somehow "bad language" in this day and age is laughable.
4. The change made to the title is pointless. If someone posts an article on recent advances in fly-by-wire technology, I don't want the thread title to read "The roosterpit of the Airbus 330". There really needs to be common sense involved in any kind of censorship. Blindly following mechanical rules will not end well.
