Is such a pity... some "good old games" are totally lost in a "limbo" of copyright rights, licenses... or maybe just because theyir companies think there is no interest on them... as long as I know I will add some games I dont see in any digital platform, not here or elsewhere, and they also dont have any cheap, or re-launch, retail version.

Rights problems I think:

Homeworld I & II
No One Lives Forever I & II
Alien vs Predator 2
Tron 2.0

Strange games where all the series are still on sale, but surprisely not this one:

Heretic II
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Battlefield: Vietnam
Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Unreal Tournament 2003

Dissapeared studios, games or franchises:

Freedoom Fighters
Hellgate London
Many Lucas Arts games

I wonder if we will see some of this ones or others you could add, in GOG.com or other digital platforms... we could also add FALLOUT 1 and 2 after the change from Interplay to Bethesda?

Lucas Arts didn't disappear. It's still there being run by a fucking mouse who squeezes a nickel so tight it makes the buffalo poop.

Do you realize as recently as 15 years ago I wouldn't even have been let into that rat's amusement parks because of my long hair!?

If you haven't seen it already, you might want to read through the 'game rights diary' thread, found here:

There's an actual video here about how Activision have lost the right to 'No One Lives Forever' down the back of the sofa or something:

http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/04/08/no-one-lives-forever-lives-in-licensing-limbo/

LOL not 'No One Live Forever Down The Back Of The Sofa' that would be a VERY different game!

What a mess O_O

I am so lucky to get this two games in retail version.

I discovered Hellgate London long after the servers were closed, so finding a brand new copy about two years ago made me very happy.
Night Dive hinted at least once that they are negotiating with Disney to re-release old Lucas Arts games, they also assured at least twice that they are working on getting the rights to No One Lives Forever.

I get it on the release, I think is a good game. Critics were totally over-negative, it was not a perfect game, but in some way was some kind of "primitive Borderlands". I think too many people (reviewers too) expected a clone of DIABLO.

Homeworld 1 & 2 are owned by Gearbox now and will supposedly be re-released in HD.
Go Tomm... I mean, Go Night Dive!

YaTEdiGo: Homeworld I & II
...
Heretic II
...
Unreal Tournament 2003
Well, Homeworld, as stated, is owned by Gearbox, they're apparently working on fixing them up, from what I heard the problem with Heretic 2 is some weird ass bug with modern hardware, and Epic thought that Unreal Tournament 2003 sucked, and that UT2k4 was 2k3, but better. The fanbase I've seen tends to agree, but 2k4 has some options to make it somewhat closer to 2k3.
If I remember correctly, Hellgate: London was purchased by an Asian company and is now an MMO, unfortunately.
I liked the idea and the properties and even the lore and fiction surrounding the Hellgate series, but while I think EA still has some say on it, the game assets itself are now pretty much being made completely irrelevant.

Found it. Korean company Hanbitsoft now owns it, due to Flagship defaulting on loans. The rights to the game were being held as collateral. Hanbitsoft relaunched it in 2011 as an F2P MMO named simply Hellgate.
