Looks like a good number of things are coming to GOG. A lot of it looks pretty cool. Here is the first paragraph of the article from GamePolotics.com.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------

GOG.com, the DRM-free digital distribution platform for classic PC games, announced its plans for 2012 and 2013 today. The company revealed that it will start offering new titles in 2012, that it will bring new improvements to its online portal, and that it is making a stronger effort to work with "ambitious developers and independent publishers" to bring their games to market.

Alright, now to brass tacks. I want to hear your opinion on this latest bit of news. All I ask as always is to use complete sentences and good grammar.

Umm, I'm sorry if i seem a little rude but, how do those links you and Spindown put here relate in any way shape or form to this topic? Just out of curiosity?

I'm excited. The more games the better. I don't mind paying full price for a title I want (Witcher 2, Skyrim etc). I do mind DRM. With this company's mission statement I look forward to enjoying games from ALL eras and supporting developers with their new endeavors under the parameters that GOG has established.

Here is another article on the topic; this one from PCGamer

I couldn't agree more with you on this latest bit of news (While quietly in the background we still wait for System Shock 2, lol.)
Interesting that you have Jerusalem as your profile picture, yet you're so concerned about good grammar!

Because they both directly address the topic...?

The press conference they're referencing is where these changes were announced. Quite honestly (and I hate being that "everything is old news" guy) GamePolitics is kinda late to the party.

On the actual topic though I'm quite excited, especially if they start releasing more frequently. Of course, I personally don't hate DRM nearly as much as most people on this site so new DRM free games doesn't really interest me, but I do love the customer service and easy installers.

Yeah that is true. So should i let this thread die or keep it up? Because I had no idea what those 2 where and how they related to the topic i put up......(that and the little 5 paragraph summery is nice to have for layman terms).
