timppu: Besides ResidualVM, there is also this for running Grim Fandango on modern systems:

F1ach: I have the original retail version, do I just put the disc in the drive and activate the "setup" and launch the game with the downloaded launcher?

Or do I need some virtual addition as well?

Thanks for any help and +1 for the linkage :)
All you have to do is copy the .LAB files in the OP into a directory, then navigate ResidualVM to that dir to start (I think)

Alternatively, you could use the setup in this post and use to get the files on your computer.
Nice tip, thanks.
Well I would have to get the game to try this out. Is there anywhere to get this game at all? 90%+ of retail gaming sites don't ship to my country. Amazon ships books but almost nothing else(I had to search for hours to be able to buy my Raspberry Pi on Amazon for example). I have never used Ebay but I suspect it has all the same shipping problems, along with other problems.

StingingVelvet: Interesting. Is this from the ScummVM crew or just a shameless rip-off, design wise?
It's a spin-off sister-project of ScummVM focusing on the 3D games, primarily Grim Fandango (GrimE engine). It's by the same people and the websites are hosted on the same server.
Did I hear "mouse support"?

Mouse interface for Grim Fandango

"I got annoyed by the Grim Fandango's tank controls, so I made a classical point&click interface. The game is now 100%(*) playable with mouse only.
Here is a preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8DKMM65Jk0

Ok, I built some binaries for v0.1 on Mac and Windows:
Grim Mouse v0.1 - Windows zip
Grim Mouse v0.1 - Mac dmg

These should work like the regular version of ResidualVM, so no copying of stuff needed. They include a Readme with the mouse/key shortcuts and other information.

Have fun testing! "
