cmdr_flashheart: Or maybe they just don't want to support/fix the game further because it has a shitty cost-benefit analysis, and this is the story, haha.

Sorry, I've had too much coffee and I am just being cynical :p
Nah that's a real possibility. It's not like Spicy Horse has a great rep anyway.

Well, as I said above, if the Steam version has CEG protection, then we know that Spicy Horse is lying out of its ass.
So, did they reinstate the missing games from older bundles? No?

See you later, then!

A lot of them have been reinstated. The only issue comes from companies who are now refusing to give across code for one reason or another (Such as the Frogware guys refusing to hand over the DRM-Free versions of the games from their bundle, Tripwire seem to be 100% steam now so are also refusing to hand over an installer for 'The Ball' and 1C no longer own 'Cryostasis' so they legally cannot give that - among other companies)

I just checked few random titles

Max and Magic Marker? Nope
Multiwinia? Nope
Nikopol? Nope
Post Apocalyptic Mayhem? Nope
Scratches? Nope
Diamond Dan? Nope

I gave up checking further.

Not true, most of the DRM-free versions of games from bundles dating back to March 2013 and before are still missing. Anyway, this is what they told me, just FYI:

We have been incredibly busy the past few months with the Holiday Helpings bundle and unfortunately, there were times restoration was put on the back burner. However, Jonny has made me in charge of making sure everything gets back up and I am working on that. I have gone through every bundle in the past two years and taken notes on what is missing. We are now working on seeing what channels we will have to use to get content back (either through users or directly from content providers). I'm actually in the process of uploading a number of OSTs today. But, I want to assure you, we are working on this and I do apologize again for the long wait. Everything will be back though. We really appreciate your patience so far.

Hell yeah, I'll be picking this up for Ultionus. That's been on my Desura wishlist for a while, the protagonist's curious anatomy notwithstanding.
It's live.

1st bonus: The Body Changer, 3000 bundles.

Grimm and Redshirt Steam-only. A pity.

And why no DRM-Free option for Grimm? Isn't only the .exe files that were left?
Pff, two DRM-free games. At least one of them is the one I wanted. Guess I'll be dumping a lot of Steam keys later. Or not, since I really don't want to undercut the charity drive side of it. Maybe after the whole thing is over and there's no more donations to be made.

Two? Does Groupees lie? I see Infected, Ultionus and Shufflepuck Cantina.

No idea, although it stands to reason that if Spicy Horse is telling the truth and the source code was lost, then the Steam version will have no CEG protection on the executable.

So I suppose we could just archive the directory. Just a shame there isn't a decent installer.

Ach, I missed the direct download for Infected. I was looking for the Desura key symbol.

EDIT: Looks like there is a direct download link for ÆRENA as well. Not as keen on alphas, though.

I was hoping for a DRM-free version of Grimm, too, but then again, if my impression of Episode 1 didn't deceive me, it doesn't have much replay value anyway and seemed rather mediocre. Oh well, at least Shufflepuck and Ultionus are DRM-free and those are the ones I'm most curious about.

No, Infected is DRM-free, too.
