Neobr10: Just tried to redeem my keys, but Shinyloot's site is offline for me. Anyone else having the same issue?
Their host is having issues apparently:
"Waiting on datacenter techs to resolve some server issues...
Supposedly things will be back to working soon™ ....we'll try to setup a store-wide 20% off coupon tomorrow for the hassle."

Thanks. Looks like the Shinyloot has been offline for quite a while already. When they get it back up i'll download every game i have there. Can't trust Shinyloot servers anymore.

Just a heads up, they're back. Also:
And if someone out there has suggestions for dedicated/enterprise hosting...there's a chance we're interested...
Hmm, I have all of the games apart from Tower of Eglathia already. Am I missing much in skipping Tower of Eglathia?

Not at all. I've finished it yesterday and I'm not impressed. It's not a bad game but the only thing done right is the difficulty (it's very difficult but I do like it in roguelike games). Cons:
- A lot of stats and skills which is rather inappropriate for a game where you simply move on your opponents to kill them (I prefer when simple roguelike mechanics remain simple)
- You have to choose your background story but the game lacks any role playing elements whatsoever. So that was only to alter your stats. I know it's a pet peeve of mine but I think devs should either make a game with serious character development (moral choices, consequences, different sides of a conflict that you can aid etc) or none at all (which is perfectly fine!). Here you got just a little bit of it and it just feels very artificial.
- At the beginning and at the end of the game you get video where the dev (I assume) explains the plot. Well... he is dressed funnily. I guess he thought that would create a nice atmosphere but... oh, well, check the attachment and you'll see it yourself. Two words come to my mind: awkward and lame.

If Ghorpm's post didn't dissuade you from trying it yet and you're still on the fence, you can download a demo on the game's website.

(Or you could have my ShinyLoot key, I doubt I will play it myself.)

That's a kind offer, but after reading Ghorpm's post I'm ok. ;)

EDIT: Have you read the bio section on that site. Wow.
...and became a successful author. And I mean successful on the level that author's can only dream of.

SirPrimalform:
Whoa... technically he's talking about his book not the game but that's still the very same person who apparently thought that it would be totally cool to include an intro where he dressed himself as "an mysterious messenger" so I don't think I'm willing to read this book.

HypersomniacLive: Overall, quite an underwhelming bundle. Even if it was somehow interesting, reading through all the stuff about the developer of Hero Siege seems good enough reason to not get this bundle given that on Groupees you can't exclude him from receiving any money.
What is wrong with the Hero Siege developer?

Never mind, I just read about what he did...
