Hey everyone,

I hope this does not sound too much like advertising, and it is not my intention in doing so; this is for the attention of people that may find this interesting; if you don't want any information about a new TubeCast show a friend and I are doing, please click away now before any inadvertent advertising could possibly be done :P I do have a longstanding membership and catalogue of games with GOG - hopefully this ameliorates, at least to some degree, the linking of our show. Also, hopefully this preamble helps as well :P

Right, so, Hack & Parry is a new gaming variety show that a friend and I started. It's a podcast-like series (for now) that we are putting on to YouTube where we chat about games, sometimes life in general, more games, go completely off topic, more games and rather weird tangents. If you'd be interested in watching the show, the latest video (TubeCast number 2) is linked below, as well as our channel. I'd personally love to hear your thoughts on it so please feel free to comment here or on YouTube - your time is appreciated :)

Again, I hope this did not feel like advertising, I only wanted to raise a smidgen of awareness for the show. Many thanks all!

Kind regards.

Thanks Phoenix :) I couldn't quite figure out how to tag it correctly :P I think it's sorted now. Much appreciated Phoenix.
Well... It's not as annoying as it could have been:P
The show or the campaigning? :P

Both:P don't worry about the advertising, as long as it's about video games, nobody minds. Also, may i suggest that you try to play freeware games in the background and post the link in the video description? That would certainly bring in a bigger crowd:)
I didn't watch too much of it, will watch the rest later - but the video seemed to be completely unrelated from what you were discussing? I personally think it'd work better with a static image in that case, as if it's just audio I'd likely be doing stuff in other tabs or games/programs while listening. I don't watch a lot of shows like this on youtube though so maybe this is common ground, just my opinion from what I saw. Also one of the guys in the game was named Vice Admiral Garp and that's pretty awesome.

Still it sounded decent from what I listened to, and as I said I'll finish it later.
I really enjoy your natural back and forth. Keep it up, and good luck with it.
@Licurg: Thanks for that feedback, we'll look into doing some Freeware or Free to Play games in the future.

@Goatbrush: I look forward to hearing what you think once you've seen the whole video :) We were looking at doing the show as a pure 'podcast' but for the time being YouTube provides the best possible means of distribution and channel of feedback - if people do like the show we will certainly look at expanding this. The footage in the background of this cast is briefly mentioned at the end, so it has a small bearing on the discussion. We definitely plan on showcasing the mod more at a later date; it's really a lot of fun.

@HereForTheBeer: Thank you so much for the kind words and good wishes :) Most appreciated mate.
