Just bear in mind that what you save in money you pay for in time, they take a week or 2 to deliver. Personally I think its worth it because there's always a GOG to sponge up my time

If that's true, my love for my Xbox360 just doubled.

Aignur: If it doesn't do anything, it needs to go.
Here's the list of stuff it does. The fact that it's free means I'd say it's already worth it so publishers at least don't spend money on licensing DRM.

Anyway, nothing's stopping the publisher from offering a version of the game not relying on Steamworks.
