Stiler: Sanitarium is one of the best and CREEPIEST games I've ever played. The atmosphere of it is just so damn creepy throughout the game and it's different areas. Especially the town with all the "children" and what they did/become.
I've heard or perhaps dreamed that it's quite short and has some trouble in win 7 x64.

With Gabriel.. Those are really great. Never really finished 2 or 3 but it was a close call.

Kind of a weird that alone in the dark games aren't in halloween promo.
How the hell do they not have alone in the dark on the list? grandfather of all horror/survival games... not even blood and blood 2? or bloodrayne?

The Alone in the Dark games, along with the two Bloods, were featured in an other promo quite recently. No idea on Bloodrayne, though.
So is Scratches any good? Is there an analogous game to compare it to, gameplay and/or character-wise? Is it a souped-up Dark Fall or what?

VtM: Bloodlines is one of my all-favorite games, however I wonder if it has spoiled me; spoiled me from enjoying Redemption, that is. Is the VtM predecessor very inferior or enjoyable in its own right? Some of the screenshots to me look like it suffered from the boxy, ugly polygon look so common to late 90s -- early 00s 3D games.
Thinking about getting Realms of the Haunting. how scary is it?

Scratches is very spooky atmosphere. But the puzzles are tough, so please have your hint website available to reference before you start getting too frustrated!

Personally I love redemption more then bloodlines. The storyline is richer. They really wanted to make VtM come alive on the computer, the disciplines were changed from the pen and paper but if you liked bloodlines that shouldn't be a problem.

The graphics are a little ugly to bloodlines but if you compare 2001 graphics to halflife 2 engine you are not really being fair, they are good to the genre and time. As someone that loves the game and replays it from time to time it doesn't bother me much (only the hands sometimes, looks like the hands are glued shut).

The game is very much worth it. It was the game that brought me to gog when I couldn't get my cd working on win7.

I encourage everyone to try the panthasmagoria games, actually i think they are they are the scariest of the promo
Eh, I'm not sure if I'd say they were truly "Scary" they are more camp horror'ish. LIke b-movie style attempt at horror with their live action actors, and some really laughable lines. I loved them both for that, but I love b-movie 80's style horror movies too.
i have just played a bit of phantasmagoria 2, thinking it would be somewhat awful but so far i am liking it better then the first part.
Too bad this promo didn't come out earlier when the dollar wasn't worth over 3 PLN. Ah well at least I got the 3 Gabriel Knight games!

Thinking about getting Sanitarium but I have already played that one before.
low rated
FAIL!!! Scratches is even cheaper than here on Steam now ! xD

Yes, Im watching this $-PLN relation too. I think that from GOG's point of view, now its better to make big promos, sigh :P

Still, it's not too bad. When I was gifting games to someone I actually paid more but today I gifted myself a game for $6 and paid less in PLNs ! :D
