Anyone have any experience running these games in Windows 7?

I've done some reading about them and it sounds like Halo CE is fine. However, there are lots of reports of issues trying to get Halo 2 working. Apparently there is problems with Games for Windows Live and Halo 2. I didn't realize this but someone posted that Windows 7 comes with Games for Windows Live in a version that is incompatible??? You'd figure Microsoft stuff would work with Microsoft stuff or be updated to do so but no? Anyway, it also sounded like there is someplace, perhaps not so easy to find where you can get the right version of Games for Windows Live (maybe the latest one?) and that works.

So I was wondering if anyone here plays these and has any feedback to share. Thanks.

My Halo 2 (retail) works fine, no problems whatsoever. As for GFWL, I have just created a local profile to use with all GFWL games as I am not interested in Halo's multiplayer.

The first Halo (is that what you mean by CE?) works fine as well. :-D

Thanks very much. Yeah, I did mean the first Halo that's full title is Halo Combat Evolved, thus the "CE."
