39 years old today, and feeling every bit of it. ;-)

Should anyone feel the urge to gift, I like (and already own) turn-based combat rpgs like Arcanum, Fallout 1 & 2, Might & Magic 3-5, and ToEE, but not turn-based strategy like HoMM.

Me too. I don't tell anyone it's my birthday anymore (24 here as well). Stupid friends though... they always seem to remember.

I actually forgot today was my birthday when I got up this morning. Wasn't until I checked my email & saw the Happy Birthday posts on my FaceBook wall that I remembered...yeah, I'm getting old.

It seems many including me would rather not be reminded of being one step closer to the reaper. :\

Usually I pretend to others who know my birthday but not the year that i'm still around 22-23.

I want to try Fallout, but I like fantasy more than post-apocalypse. Would you recommend it?

Fallout can be compared to Arcanum. Its not a carbon-copy, but the same core team (Troika) made both games so the character customization is just amazing. As long as you don't absolutely hate the post-apocalypse setting, you should enjoy it.
