the trailer is fantastic and I'm so looking foward for this based on the trailer alone
I think the actual game is supposed to look identical to the teaser or something. That's pretty incredible.

Nope, never even heard of the game :P
There's another thread here.

Just take a look at TW2 - still bleeding edge graphics wise. In 2 years time, the hardware available will be even more powerful - and the developers will be able to improve their game engine even further.

Excited to see where this R&D will take us.
They know how to give attention to a genre that needs it.

Don't know who said that but such statements are always absurd in case of pre-rendered trailers like this one, especially if they are as heavily processed and perfectly orchestrated as in this case. Pre-rendered footage will always look better. I mean, whatever is possible in real-time, something even better is possible if you can have as much rendering time as you want. And if the team that created the trailer didn't make use of this they'd be doing an awful job (not to mention that CDP's previous pre-rendered trailers and intros were done by an external studio belonging to Tomasz Bagiński, a guy who once earned an Oscar nomination - don't know who made it in this case).
