Yes, I'm afraid it's yet another 'hi everyone, I've just joined the forum!' post, although long time site member/lurker so really it's about time I started posting.

Just wanted to say as someone who hasn't owned a console since the sega megadrive and has been playing PC games since the mid 90s, that discovering this site about a year ago was a revelation! The games of my childhood DRM free, with extra stuff, patched to run on modern pcs without the need for the usual desperate search through forums to fix the bugs!? Can't ask for any more than that. Big thanks to the blue texts and their Gog colleagues for provided such a great service for people like me who insist that the classics will never be beaten!

Now about ID software and Lucasarts... ;-D
Welcome !

*Advertisement* don't forget to vote for every game on the community wishlists, numbers helped GOG to ask for some great classics in the past.
Don't forget to play your games every once in a while, a lot of people here do.
Welcome to GOG (forums), be sure to buy Sacrifice. It's one of the many hidden gems on GOG, and you won't regret buying it.
Welcome. Be careful you don't step in the bullshit. :P

lucasarts to my knowledge, has a secret game they will never sell called "moldy butt cheese". its so 3d that they just called it 4D to make people understand how much better it is. there is no equal amongst games or men.
Good point about the wishlist, would love to see Doom & Quake on here as well as Civ 1 and 2 so will certainly give those ones a vote. You'd think ID who released the source code for all of their older FPS games would love to get involved with a site like this one, I guess different people are running the show these days.
Hello!
Welcome to the forums, the home of all the crazies.

Not Robert, Bob, which if I'm not mistaken is a guy with no arms and legs who floats in the water.

This will teach our new friend to regret ever getting near this forum. :D
