It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Been having trouble trying to download Divine Divinity, as I live far into the country side, I don't get the best internet connections out here so my connections is likely to disconnect once or twice a day, and when it comes to downloads I usually just resume them as they get paused.

However with downloading from this site, the download doesn't resume and cancels itself. I've tried it multiple times, even with pausing whilst my connection is online and it still cancels itself once resumed.

Any help with this?

GOG has deliberately made it difficult to resume the downloads, I suggest you use their downloader application (unless you really don't like Adobe or their AIR product, in which case you'll have to try finding another solution, or wait until the 10th of may when the new downloader should appear).
We have been promised a new version of the downloader coming very soon. Hopefully this will be better at dealing with dropped connections, they have also promised corruption checking as well. You could just wait for that.

Otherwise you'll want to try one of the many download managers available, I'll let others fill you in on what they use, as I don't have a need for one, and thus don't use one.
Well I originally had the problem with the downloader to begin with and the connection cutting off, though it did resume, it only downloaded a part of the file for some reason. I'll try it again and if no luck occurs I'll wait on the new one.
Just to clarify things, if you are downloading through a browser pausing and resuming is impossible. So try to use the downloader (which works flawlessly for me)

I don't know the how it is done exactly, but from what i've heard the link is only generated for a short amount of time, after some initial start up time it is impossible to regain the file through that link.

Edit: oh, and for future pictures, you can upload them directly in the forums, no photobucket or the like needed.

And, of course, welcome to GOG!

I should have mentioned this before but . . . a few years ago I was getting my connection dropped on a regular basis. It finally got to several times a day (it was an AT&T supplied DSL modem BTW) I replaced it with a low cost, highly rated ActionTec modem from Amazon and never had my connection dropped again. Anyway, you might take a look at your modem being the cause of your dropped connections rather than your browser or the GOG downloader. . . just a thought . . . =)
