Don't get me wrong, I friggin' love Carmageddon, but I'm pretty damn sure that used 3Dfx acceleration. And from what I'm seeing the GOG release is going to be using software rendering. And I can't for the life of me get that stuff to work myself, though I could try again for the three-hundredth time.

GOG recently teamed up with the nGlide people for 3Dfx emulation, hopefully they'll have this release ready to go out of the box.

Nice to see a fellow Marathoner. And I'm glad you recognized it for what it is instead of what most people think (e.g. Halo). Reverof Nothram and all that! :D

Have I seen you on the Marathon Infinity AlephOne multi-player before? I usually go there on weekends for some old-school multi-player action. With the rendering set to 16-bit, resolution at 640x480 and all plug-ins disabled for the extra retro feels.
